Warning! Health concerns from the 5g technology

Because of the absence of study, we cannot risk taking the benefit of the doubt and let high radiation devices pollute us. Dr. Joel Moskowitz from UC Berkeley School of Public Health has explained, “we have no reason to believe that 5G is safe.”

Unlike its previous generations, 5G is a different type of EMF radiation. The World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has coined this range of EMF as a Class 2B carcinogen, which means that there is still no evidence of the results of this type of radiation on any animal or human. However, some research shows that this level of EMF is genotoxic, meaning that it has the potential to destroy human DNA.

A US National Toxicology Program that released the result from a $30 million study concluded that there was “clear evidence” that this kind of exposure to cell phone radiation increases the chances of cancer and genetic damage in mice. But cancer is not the only fatal effect. Multiple peer-reviewed scientific studies demonstrated that exposure to this level of radiation can result in nausea, low energy, bone marrow damage, depression, infections, confusion, hair loss, appetite loss, and constant swellings.

It is only logical to say that 5G is bad for you. There is clear evidence that 5G emissions do not fall under the safety limit, but even though they somehow managed to get the emission down, there is no evidence to what could happen if we are surrounded by such unreasonably high emissions. Sadly, there have been no changes in the safety standards that govern this technology despite all the controversy behind it.

Cancer Risk

Researchers are yet to provide solid evidence on the link between smartphone use and cancer in humans. That said, there is evidence with lab rats and that is why researchers are not being ignorant about it.

When we talk about biological effects and medicinal applications of the non-ionizing radiation, there have been over 25,000 articles published. Based on a recent in-depth review of the scientific literature, the WHO concluded that “current evidence does not confirm the existence of any health consequences from exposure to low-level electromagnetic fields. However, some gaps in knowledge about biological effects exist and need further research.”

Millimeter Waves

One of the new features of this new network is its use of millimeter waves. The 4G network used to function on radio waves to broadcast data. This new technology aims to reach a whole new spectrum of transmitting data that allows it to permit so much traffic. This is possible by millimeter waves. It is like building a new road when the present one gets jammed.

Millimeter waves are much shorter than radio waves and are only 1 to 10 mm in length. Their shorter lengths let them operate higher frequencies, which means their energy transmission is amplified. Sadly, these amplified waves penetrate the human body at least a few millimeters of the skin. Just like 5G, millimeter waves are also making a debut for the first time in the market, so there is limited evidence of its effects as well. But some studies show that even short-term exposure to millimeter waves can cause harm on the peripheral nervous system, the immune system, and the cardiovascular system.

Conclusion

With limited conclusive studies and scientific literature, it is hard to give a true opinion on how bad 5G technology can be, but it is safe to say that it can get pretty bad. Possibilities are that this technology will get stitched into our lives, and can eventually pollute the world in a new and horrific way. Either that, or we will see the dawn of newer and safer technology that will assist in the aid of mankind.
